Prof. Pradeep Verma is a senior academic and researcher in microbial biotechnology, currently serving as Professor at the Central University of Rajasthan, where he has also held roles as Dean and Head of Microbiology. His career spans industry and academia, including leadership in biobutanol innovation at Reliance Life Sciences, resulting in patented technologies. His research focuses on microbial diversity, bioremediation, bioprocess development, and biomass-based biorefineries. Prof. Verma has received several national fellowships and awards for his contributions to fungal microbiology and microalgal research, resulting in a total of 9,385 scholar citations, an h-index of 51, and an i10-index of 122. He is recognized among the top 2% of scientists globally by Stanford University and actively contributes to editorial boards and scientific societies. His work reflects a sustained commitment to advancing sustainable technologies and microbial innovation.
