Forged in Fitness is an inspiring and motivating journey through one man's fifty years in the world of fitness.
It began with a quiet, uncertain young man weighed down by fear, insecurity, and chaos. He faced near-drowning, bullying, social anxiety, and lost direction during the haze of the hippie era.
At his lowest point, he chose not to give up and turned to fitness. What began as a way to survive became a lifelong source of strength, clarity, and purpose.
This isn't theory-it's lived experience. Forged in Fitness shows how weakness can harden into strength and fear can give way to faith.
This book is more than exercise; it's a roadmap for building mental grit, fueling lasting health, and cultivating resilience of body, mind, and spirit through discipline and persistence.
Drawn from real triumphs over adversity, this book proves that true transformation is possible for anyone willing to embrace the journey.
A propos de l'auteur
Born in Chicago, Waldimir (Wally) Baskovich overcame early challenges: a near-drowning, bullying, social anxiety, and the chaos of the hippie era to build a life of resilience and purpose. Motivated by his father, a one-legged AAU gymnastics champion and U.S. amputee golf champion, Wally forged his own path through martial arts, weight training, and spiritual growth. Further inspired by fitness pioneers like Jack LaLanne, Charles Atlas, Bruce Lee, and Dr. Arthur Jones of Nautilus, he has spent over fifty years developing a practical, enduring fitness and life approach that blends old-school grit, functional strength, and mind-body discipline.
