A propos de l'auteur
Dr. Binota Thokchom is an Assistant Professor at Dhanamanjuri University, Manipur. She did her Ph. D. in Environmental Engineering from Korea University, South Korea, and pursued Post Doctoral Fellow from the Chemical Engineering Department, IIT-Guwahati. She has served as DST-Inspire Faculty at Manipur University and IIT-Guwahati. Dr. Binota had also worked at the Analytical Instrumentation Division, NEERI, Nagpur. She has won several awards, including the BRICS Young Scientist (Durban Chapter). She is a Korea Government Scholarship Programme recipient and was also awarded for leading the Smart Sisters Programme in Seoul. She has more than 20 papers and 3 edited books. Her interest covers several environmental issues. She is developing water-treating technologies and nanoparticles, which are also under review for patent certifications.
Dr. Rishemjit Kaur is a Principal Scientist at CSIR-Central Scientific Instruments Organisation, Chandigarh, and an Associate Professor at the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR), specializing in artificial intelligence. Her research focuses on the development of Artificial Intelligence and natural language processing for social good, particularly in agriculture, nutrition, and food. She is developing large language models for Indian farmers in local languages. Dr. Kaur has published over 50 papers, holds 4 patents, completed 1 technology transfer, and developed multiple open-source software and technologies. She is a member of NASI and INYAS. Her awards include the IEI Young Engineer Award (2023), the Japanese Government MEXT Scholarship, representation at the BRICS Young Scientist Forum (2018), etc.
Dr. Pardeep Singh is currently serving as a senior assistant professor in the Department of Environmental Studies at PGDAV College, University of Delhi, India. He holds a master’s degree in environmental science from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, and a doctorate from the IIT (Banaras Hindu University). Dr. Singh has authored and co-authored more than 85 research papers in reputed international journals and has edited over 85 scholarly books with renowned global publishers, focusing on pressing environmental issues and sustainable management strategies. His research interests encompass global environmental change, climate change, and its multifaceted impacts on the Indian Himalayan Region. Dr. Singh has organized numerous international expeditions across the Indian Himalayan Region and has represented India at academic platforms in over 20 countries.
Dr. Pengpeng Qiu is currently working as an Associate Professor in the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Fiber Materials, Department of Material Science and Technology at Donghua University. He obtained his Bachelor's degree from Jilin Institute of Chemical Engineering in 2011. Then, pursued Ph. D. from Korea University and completed a two-year postdoctoral at Fudan University. Dr. Qiu joined Donghua University in between. The scope of his research is the design and synthesis of functional mesoporous materials for various environmental related applications. Till now, he has published more than 60 papers in international SCI journals in the fields of materials science and engineering.
