Bildungsreligion Christentum - Biblisch-theologische und konfessionsspezifische Perspektiven

Lehren und Lernen haben in der Geschichte des Christentums je nach Kontext unterschiedliches Gewicht und unterschiedliche Gestalt gewonnen. Wo - wie in Deutschland - dieses Gewicht groß und diese Gestalt auch öffentlich sichtbar wurde, hat sich die Rede vom »Christentum als Bildungsreligion« etabliert. Die Beiträger*innen loten die Reichweite des Begriffs aus, indem sie eine Vielfalt konfessioneller Stimmen aus der deutschsprachigen Ökumene zu Gehör bringen. Dabei folgen sie der gemeinsamen Leitfrage, welchen Stellenwert Lehren und Lernen bzw. Erziehung und Bildung in der jeweiligen Konfession bzw. Konfessionskultur einnehmen und welche Praktiken und Begriffe dabei eine zentrale Rolle spielen.
