A propos de l'auteur
Dr. Nanako Tamiya is Professor and Chair of Department of Health Services Research, and also General Director of Research & Development Center for Health Services, University of Tsukuba. With the background experience as Home care and Institutional physician and research career including studying at University of Tokyo (Ph.D.) and Harvard School of Public Health (MSc): majoring Health Services Research, She is focusing on the HSR to improve the quality of community care including long-term care for elderly or disabled. Health Services Research is not well known in Japan yet, and her department is the 1st department officially named HSR.
Dr. Masao Iwagami is a Japanese clinical epidemiologist and Professor in the University of Tsukuba, Japan. He graduated from the University of Tokyo in 2008, completed his internship and nephrology residency in Japanese hospitals, received the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates certificate in the USA in 2010, and worked as a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Haemodialysis and Apheresis, the University of Tokyo Hospital in 2013. He studied clinical epidemiology and health services research at the School of Public Health, the University of Tokyo in 2012, at MSc Epidemiology in 2013/2014, and PhD Epidemiology and Population Health in 2014-2018 at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He became the Assistant Professor in the University of Tsukuba (Department of Health Services Research) in 2018, Associate Professor (Department of Health Services Research) in 2022, and Professor (Department of Digital Health) in 2024.
Dr. Takehiro Sugiyama is a health services researcher working at University of Tsukuba (Specially Appointed Professor, Department of Health Services Research, Institute of Medicine) and Japan Institute for Health Security (Director, Department of Medical DX) . His research area is health services and health policy research, especially in diabetes and chronic diseases, using governmental statistics and survey data. Dr. Sugiyama is a board-certified diabetologist and endocrinologist. He obtained his PhD degree at the University of Tokyo in 2014. He earned his Master of Science in Health Services degree at School of Public Health at University of California, Los Angeles in 2012. He graduated from Faculty of Medicine, the University of Tokyo in 2006.
