Manoj Kumar is presently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology, at Manav Rachna University, Faridabad. He has over 14 years of experience including academics, industry, and research. He earned his Ph.D. in 2022, in the area of Computer Vision. Dr. Kumar has published many research papers related to moving object detection and tracking in videos and also extracts features of moving objects/vehicles from video in real-time video surveillance systems. He has published more than 10 papers in journals and has presented more than 40 papers at various international conferences. He has published 4 National Patents, has participated in various workshops and Faculty development programs, and has conducted various special sessions at many reputed conferences and workshops. His areas of expertise are Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Image Processing, IOT and Blockchain.
Urmila Pilania is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology, at Manav Rachna University, Faridabad. She has 14 years of experience in academics and research and received her Engineering degree (B. Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering) in 2007 from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar - Haryana (India). Dr. Pilania earned a master's degree (M.Tech. in Computer Science and Technology) in 2009 from Vaish College of Engineering, Rohtak- Haryana. She was awarded the doctoral degree (Ph.D. in Computer Science and Technology) in 2021 from Manav Rachna University, Faridabad, India. Dr. Pilania has published many research papers related to Information Security, object detection, and classification. She is the author of more than 46 research publications with journals/Conferences of repute and some papers are under review or in press for publication with leading publishers. She has published 3 National Patents, 3 Design Patents and 3 more are under Examination. She has participated in various workshops and FDPs and has also been associated with many conferences, and journals as a reviewer and a member of their technical committee along with delivering guest lectures. Her primary research interests are in Information Security, Image Processing, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.
received his bachelor's degree in CSE from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, India, and a master's Degree in CSE from YMCA University of Science and Technology, Faridabad, India. He received his Ph.D. in CSE from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, and has more than 10 years of experience in teaching. Currently, he is working as an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science at UPES Dehradun. He has more than forty publications to his credit in different reputed journals and conferences and his areas of interest include Network Security, Optimization Techniques, Human computing, Soft Computing, Cloud computing, Data Mining, etc.
Neelu Jyothi Ahuja is a Professor in the Department of Systemics, at the School of Computer Science at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun. Her Ph.D. was awarded in 2010 and apart from academic teaching at the university level (both at post-graduate and undergraduate levels), she is an active researcher. From the period of 2010 to 2017, she was head of the Research Centre-Computing Research Institute, spearheading intra-disciplinary research and coordinating research activities. To her credit, she has successfully delivered half a dozen R&D projects and consultancies funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), GOI. She has been an invited speaker on various technical and research-oriented topics at widely acclaimed forums, both national and international, and is on the panel of various committees, including the WHO-Promotion of Assistive Products and Technologies, and the DST-Expert Committee for inspection and On-the-Spot review of CORE (long-term) projects. She has also been a chair at various conference sessions and different internal and external meetings/forums. She holds 22+ years of experience in teaching, research, and project proposal development and has published papers in journals and conferences at international and national levels. Her areas of interest include Machine Learning, Intelligent Systems, Intelligent Tutoring Systems, Expert Systems, Artificial Intelligence, ICT, Object-oriented development, and Programming Languages.
Mazdak Zamani earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 2011. He began his academic career as a Senior Lecturer at UTM's Advanced Informatics School, serving from 2011 to 2015. In 2015, he joined Wenzhou-Kean University as a full-time Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science. In Fall 2017, Dr. Zamani transitioned to Felician University, where he served as an Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity and Computer Science. His exceptional contributions led to his promotion to Associate Professor of Cybersecurity in 2020. Since 2021, he has also been an Adjunct Professor at the Graduate Division of the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at New York University, teaching graduate-level courses in Applied Cryptography and Network Security. In Fall 2024, Dr. Zamani joined Empire State University, part of the State University of New York system, as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology.
