Megan has a master's and PhD in English literature. She has taught many creative writing classes, including through UCLA Extension's prestigious Writers' Program and in a great many workshops. She has a black belt in Krav Maga and a blue belt in jiujitsu, and spends more time in martial arts studios than she ever imagined possible. She lives in the Pacific Northwest with her comic book artist husband, though, at any given time, she is likely to be either huddled in a coffee shop somewhere or off traveling the world.
