Yashwant Pathak, MPharm, Executive MBA, MSCM, PhD, FAAAS Yashwant Pathak received his PhD from Nagpur University, India, and his executive MBA and master in conflict management from Sullivan University, Louisville, USA. He has over 45 years' experience in academia and the industry. Presently, he is a professor and an associate dean for faculty affairs at Taneja College of Pharmacy, University of South Florida, Tampa, USA. Yashwant Pathak is also an adjunct professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Airlangga University, Surabaya, Indonesia. Yashwant has published over 400 research papers, reviews, and chapters, with close to 5,000 citations in Google Scholar. He has edited over 70 books in nanotechnology, nutraceuticals, drug delivery systems, artificial intelligence, and artificial neural network. He has keen interest in conflict management and has edited several books, namely, Organizational Conflict Management, Handbook of Organizational Conflict Management, Eastern and Indigenous Perspectives in Conflict Management, RSS Way of Resolving Conflicts, and these two volumes on nonprofit organizations conflict management. He is the recipient of several international and national awards, including as Fulbright senior scholar, 2016-2017, at Indonesia, for six months; Fulbright specialist scholar, 2019, at Witwatersrand University, South Africa; adjunct professor, Witwatersrand University, South Africa; adjunct professor, Faculty of Pharmacy, Airlangga University, Surabaya, Indonesia; fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (FAAAS); Fulbright specialist, Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, Bogota, Colombia, 2023; and Fulbright senior scholar, Masaryk University, Czech Republic, 2024. He is actively involved in many nonprofit organizations, including HSS.org, ICHRRF.org, IACDSC.org, Uberoi Foundation for Religious Studies, and so on. Dr. Pathak recently received the Nelson Mandela Washington Reciprocal Exchange Fellowship for Nigeria, West Africa.
Dr. Niyati Acharya, PhD, MPharm (Pharmacognosy) Dr. Niyati Acharya, currently working as an assistant professor and the head, Department of Pharmacognosy, Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University, Ahmedabad, has over 22 years of experience in teaching and natural product research, has published 47 research papers, and has 15 book chapters to her credit (1,191 citations, 17 h-index, 22 index). She has completed research projects for the Department of Biotechnology, New Delhi, and GUJCOST, Gandhinagar, of more than 50 lacs and is doing many minor research and consultancy projects for the herbal drug industry and research centers. Recognized as a PG/PhD guide, she has guided more than 63 MPharm and 12 MSc cosmetic technology students; 6 PhD students have been awarded, and 3 are pursuing PhD at Nirma University under her able guidance. She has presented more than 40 oral and 80 poster presentations in various international and national-level programs and delivered expert talks. She is a recipient of the Best Oral Presentation award by the Society of Ethnopharmacology at SFEC 2022, the P. K. Debnath Memorial Award: SFE Young Ethnopharmacologist Award 2020 for Best Oral Presentation in the Field of Ethnopharmacology, the GABTP National Woman Scientist Award 2019 at the 29th APSI Scientist Meet and International Conference on Drug Discovery and Development in Agrobiotechnology and Pharmaceutical Sciences, the Best Research Paper Award at the International Symposium on Cancer Research at GCRI in 2014, and the Dr. P. D. Sethi Research Paper Award 2006. She is a recipient of the Best Innovation Idea under the Rising Startup Idea Award, Biothon 2025, in Gujarat Biotechnology University. The research area of her interest includes phytopharmacology-based investigations and characterization of biomarkers from medicinal plants for the management of wounds, obesity, liver disorders, and neurodegenerative disorders, like Alzheimer's disease, and the development of novel and target-based herbal formulations. She is a life member of various professional bodies, like the APTI, ISP, IPA, ISTE, Society of Ethnopharmacology, Indian Academy of Neurosciences, Indian Society of Chemists and Biologists, Indian Pharmacological Society, and IPGA, and has been working as an editorial member and reviewer for many journals of Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, and Willey.
