En savoir plus

David Macaulay's troupe of ever-inquisitive mammoths help you develop core science skills in this highly original workbook. Do you struggle to engage with science at school? Would you like to build your confidence in science both at home and in the classroom? Or are you a science whizz who wants to learn more? This Mammoth Science Workbook will help you master the basics, including states of matter, elements, chemical reactions, cells, energy, forces, our solar system, the rock cycle, and more. Throughout the workbook, the mammoths act as your guide as they first explain a science concept and then reinforce it with practice questions and fun activities. Developed in conjunction with a science teacher, the Mammoth Science Workbook covers all the key areas of the curriculum for children aged 8-11 across biology, chemistry, physics, and astronomy, and cements learning with easy-to-follow instructions and clear examples.
