The study, "Assessment of Radio Benue's Food Basket programme in promoting the usage of modern farming techniques among farmers in Benue State" sought to find out the influence of Radio Benue's Food Basket programme in promoting the usage of modern farming techniques among farmers in Benue State and to ascertain the role of Radio Benue's Food Basket programme in promoting the usage of modern farming techniques among farmers in Benue State. The study was anchored on the development media theory, which states that, the media have the vital roles to play in the development of societies especially those of the developing countries. The study used the survey research design, while questionnaire was deployed as data collection instrument. Findings revealed that the influence of Radio Benue's food basket programme in promoting the use of modern farming techniques among farmers in Benue State is that it creates public awareness campaigns, partnership with agricultural organizations creating interactive platforms and feedback mechanism. It was revealed that the role of Radio Benue's food basket programme in promoting the use of modern farming techniques among farmers in Benue State.
