A propos de l'auteur

Kat Maconie is a London-based footwear designer who started her own label, which also produces handbags and jewelery, in 2009. She has partnered with other organizations for projects including limited-edition pieces and pop-up cocktail bars. What Kind of Shoes Does a Hippopotamus Wear? is her first picture book.

Sebastian Braun has enjoyed creating images for as long as he can remember. As a child he spent countless hours drawing, but to his disappointment, his school offered no art classes. Without any art training, he went to Strasbourg University to study history, which shared a building with the art department. Within two years he'd switched subjects, specializing in in applied arts before taking on a teaching specialization. Since graduating, his studio has become piled high with his work--from board books to nonfiction to children's picture books.
