Die Einführung in das Verfassungsrecht ist als Studienbuch für Leserinnen und Leser ohne Vorkenntnisse konzipiert. Nach der Einleitung werden die Verfassungsprinzipien Republik, Demokratie, Bundesstaat, Sozialstaat und Rechtsstaat vorgestellt. Anschließend werden die einzelnen Grundrechte mit dem Schwerpunkt der allgemeinen Grundrechtslehren behandelt. Die 8. Auflage berücksichtigt die aktuellen Entwicklungen.
