Prof. Schouler-Ocak is a specialist in psychiatry, specialising in neurology, and psychotherapy, particularly in trauma focused psychotherapy. She also has a certification in EMDR - therapy and social medicine. She is working as a senior physician at the Psychiatric University Clinic of Charitè at St. Hedwig Hospital in Berlin, where she is chief physician at the Outpatient Clinic, Chair of the Research Group on Intercultural Migration and Mental Healthcare, and Social Psychiatist at the Clinic of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at Charité - University Medical School in Berlin.

Prof. Murad Moosa Khan is Lead Scientist, Suicide Research & Prevention and Mental Health at the Brain and Mind Institute, Aga Khan University (AKU), Karachi, Pakistan, and Professor Emeritus, Department of Psychiatry, AKU. He is former President of the International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP) and has contributed to IASP's global suicide prevention strategy. His research focuses on the epidemiology and socio-cultural factors of suicide and self-harm, mental health of women and the elderly, and ethics in medicine. Dr. Khan continues to lead efforts in advancing mental health research and promoting ethical standards in mental healthcare.
