Generally speaking, compliance with the ethical obligations defined in this Code should lead members of the judiciary to refer to a general principle of prudence in order to avoid breaching the obligations of their position.Beyond this principle of prudence, the magistrate's ethical obligations cannot becannot be confined to the prevention of misconduct.
