The purpose of this book is to present a Local Tourism Development Plan (PDTL), which serves as a basis for tourism management in the district of Puerto Eten, located in the Department of Lambayeque - Peru.The analysis of a set of instruments was carried out, which made it possible to design such a plan based on the guidelines of MINCETUR, focused on the PDTL of the District of Pacasmayo, which is similar to the district of Puerto Eten. The most notable result is the fundamental objectives included in the plan and a series of activities that are planned to be developed.Given the lack of knowledge of municipal tourism management and the contribution of the PDTL, the author's aspiration is that the authorities of the sector have a model plan that contributes to the sustainable development of the district, considering the institutional strengthening and the orientation of its actions to the adequate use of its natural and cultural resources, as well as the inter-institutional cooperation and the participation of the community.
