Everything is fine until it isn't. Darkness permeates slowly, blanketing Aisha in a tight embrace, coiling through her sanity, and leaving her confined to the unknown. She glimpses a black figure crossing the room and disappearing into thin air. Then there are footsteps and screams out of nowhere. One day, she finds all the doors in the kitchen opened and aligned in a neat straight line adding to the brewing terror. A propos de l'auteur
Shafeeda T. is an author from Mankada, Kerala. Born and brought up in Abu Dhabi, UAE, she has been writing poetry and novels since the age of 14. Her poems have been published in The Indian Periodicals, an online magazine and two anthologies, Precarious Today (2021) and Blooming Orchids (2023). She is a post-graduate in English literature and writes poems and stories inspired by life, trauma and grief. A primary school teacher by profession, when not teaching, you can find her either huddled up on her laptop writing, reading a paperback or painting in acrylics.
