Sir Terry Pratchett, the author of over three dozen novels, is one of the worlds best-selling novelists writing in the English language. His books have sold more than 65 milllion copies worldwide. In addition to his phenomenaland hugely popularDiscworld series for adults, Terry is the beloved author several childrens books. He was awarded Britains highest honor for a childrens novel, the Carnegie Medal. In 2008, he was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II for his services to literature. Terry lives in England, where he writes all the time. The characters and setting of THE TIFFANY ACHING ADVENTURES are dear to the authors heart, reflecting (obliquely) much of his own childhood in Englands Chalk countrythe part of the country where he still lives today. Boris Aljinovic, geboren 1967, studierte zunächst Englisch und Französisch an der FU Berlin. Anschließend absolvierte er sein Schauspielstudium an der Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch. Er spielte in Weimar, Schwerin sowie in Berlin am Renaissance-Theater. 1993 gab Aljinovic sein Leinwanddebüt in dem Episodenfilm "Flirt", von 1999 bis 2001 gehörte Boris Aljinovic zum Ensemble der Krankenhaus-Soap "Klinikum Berlin Mitte - Leben in Bereitschaft". Seit 2001 spielt er im Berliner "Tatort". Auf der Kinoleinwand erschien er zuletzt in "7 Zwerge - Männer allein im Wald" (2004). Für den Hörverlag spricht er u. a. in den Hörspielen "In 80 Tagen um die Welt" von Jules Verne und "Nachtzug nach Lissabon" von Pascal Mercier und liest "América" und "Zähne und Klauen" von T.C. Boyle. 2007 wurde er mit dem Deutschen Hörbuchpreis als Bester Interpret ausgezeichnet.
