Résumé

A love story, a translation of an Indian sex manual, an erotic farce and a murder mystery. The hero of the comedy, Leopold Roth, complains that he has never made love to an Indian woman. A married Roth becomes obsessed with Lalita Gupta and sets out to seduce her whilst translating the "Kamasutra".
