This text book is for American Society & Law I taught in Korean at Dongseo University in South Korea by Professor Joseph Jung who was a law enforcement officer in the U.S and served the APEC community when he turned a Professor. This book provides basic information about America as a country. It covers its founding history, education, economy, sports, arts, and law. America had its good times and bad times. The great fathers of the nation have endured and prevailed to build the greatest nation in the world. The backbone precepts of America are Freedom, Justice, and Equality which all Americans are proud of. Prof. Jung wants his students to understand how America has become what it is today and how it has influenced the world to be what it is today. The class is open to all students who want to take the world into their hearts.

The author has been teaching English in Korea for the past 25 years as a professor.
He has published many books for English Sunday School and University students.
Prof. Jung is currently volunteering his time to mission work by teaching English to unprivileged children in the countryside in Korea.
