A propos de l'auteur

Ian Jordaan is a consultant to C-CORE, and Professor Emeritus at Memorial University, St John's, Canada. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and has received the Horst Leipholz and Casimir Gzowski Medals, the P.L. Pratley Award, as well as several awards for best papers. Résumé

Featuring real-world examples and practical methodology, this rigorous text explores time dependence in the mechanics of ice. Emphasizing use of full scale data, and implementing risk-based design methods, mechanical theory is combined with design and modelling.
