A propos de l'auteur
Dr. Tamparo, Ph.D., CMA-A (AAMA), is the former Dean of Business and Allied Health at the Lake Washington Institute of Technology in Kirkland, Washington, and founder of the Medical Assistant Program at Highline College. The author and co-author of four texts for allied health professionals, she is also a member of the SeaTac American Association of Medical Assistants and the National American Association of Medical Assistants.Ms. Lindh, CMA (AAMA) is Professor Emerita at Highline College in Des Moines, Washington, where she served as Program Director and a consultant to the Medical Assistant Program and received the Outstanding Faculty Member of the Year award for reshaping the program. The co-author of several textbooks on medical assisting, Ms. Lindh conducted workshops and lectured at events across the country during her tenure and remains an active member of both the SeaTac Chapter of the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) and the National American Association of Medical Assistants.Michelle Blesi, MA, CMA (AAMA), is a full-time faculty member and Program Director at Century Community and Technical College in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Michelle has over 38 years of combined experience in the health care industry and education field. The author of MEDICAL ASSISTING ADMINISTRATIVE AND CLINICAL COMPETENCIES textbook, co-author of THERAPEUTIC COMMUNICATIONS FOR HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS and SME on several other allied health titles and ancillary products, including MOSS and CTC 3.0, Michelle enjoys bringing her career experience into the classroom and making a difference in students' lives. In addition to being Program Director, she teaches both clinical and laboratory courses and Administrative Procedures for Medical Assistants, traditional and online. She is the practicum coordinator overseeing all the student practicums for the program. Michelle has been awarded the Board of Trustees Outstanding Educator Award, Golden Apple Award and Exemplary Faculty Member during her tenure at the college.
