Sophia and Alex Learn about Sports follows our two main characters as they attend a baseball game as spectators and later play soccer with teammates. The children learn to be good sports as they play against friends from their school.

Author Denise Bourgeois-Vance is a bilingual immigrant to the United States. She holds a degree in Social Science from Washington State University and has worked as a preschool teacher and Family Support Specialist. She is a mother and grandmother, currently living in Washington State with her husband.
