SCIENCE FICTION: Marduk, the Supreme Leader of the powerful Secret Chiefs addressed the Council members with the very ominous words, "Gentleman, the Earth needs to take a big crap and excrete these vile, disgusting, filthy human rodents once and for all. They were fine as slave laborers when we created them to mine needed Rotanium on this planet. Since we no longer require that substance, they are in effect, redundant. We will destroy this putrescent cesspool with a one-dimensional death star which will become three-dimensional when it enters this galaxy. Their ignorant, arrogant, so-called scientists will think it an illusion, until it's too late. Time factor? Three weeks. These disgusting wretches must be exterminated!" When deadbeat socialite Chip Hamster returns home to Nashville after his father's murder, he quickly squanders his inheritance and becomes involved in a scheme of securing loans from banks by using titles to high end luxury cars which he has acquired from a junkyard near Chattanooga. Based on his late father's reputation and his own presumed wealth, he easily succeeds. The only problem is that the cars don't actually exist. They've already been scrapped. Unbeknownst to himself, trouble is on the horizon. Soon, Chip will be retrieved from the Tennessee River after a motoring accident by an unusual group of mad scientists who hold him prisoner within the strange Wildman Sanitarium. Missing, presumed dead, and planning his escape, he learns that the sanitarium is merely a cover for their intentions to destroy Earth. Should he, against all odds, save the planet, he must return from his presumed death, restore his reputation, and reestablish himself in the Music City in the style to which he's accustomed.
