Klaus Anger is Professor of Developmental Biology, Zoology, and Ecology at the Alfred Wegener Institute Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research in Bremen, Germany.

Steffan Harzsch is Professor of Zoology at the University of Greifswald in Germany.

Martin Thiel is Professor of Marine Biology at Universidad Catolica del Norte (UCN) in Coquimbo, Chile.
