A propos de l'auteur

Alma Fullerton’s free-verse novels for juvenile and young adult readers have earned her multiple nominations and awards, including the Ruth and Sylvia Schwartz Award and the CLA Book of the Year Honor. Her acclaimed picture books explore ways of life around the world and celebrate children’s resilience and capacity for joy. They include A Good Trade, Community Soup, In a Cloud of Dust, and When the Rain Comes. Alma lives in Midland, Ontario.Author, illustrator, designer, and visual artist Karen Patkau’s distinctive art can be found in more than a dozen picture books for children. She is the recipient of the Ezra Jack Keats Memorial Medal for her first picture book, Don’t Eat Spiders, and her work has been regularly nominated for awards ever since. Amongst other honors, One Watermelon Seed was a Bank Street Best Book, and Creatures Yesterday and Today was chosen for the Book Sense Summer Children’s Picks List. Karen lives in Toronto, Ontario.
