American Dreams

Max fled Tsarist Russia with his father after his father violently avenged Max's mother's rape and murder by soldiers. In adulthood in New York, the woman Max loves is set to be taken from him in a way that echoes this initial loss - a possibility Max ascends the underworld crime ladder to curtail.

A propos de l'auteur

Kenneth Bromberg grew up in the beach cities of Southern California with a passion for tennis, American history, and literature. His first novel, American Dreams, is based upon stories told by his grandmother, who emigrated from a small Jewish village near Kiev in the first years of the 20th century.
