Joel Evans is Assistant Professor in Literature at the University of Nottingham. He has published articles in New Review of Film and Television Studies, Textual Practice, and Novel: A Forum on Fiction.

Résumé

This book offers an original insight into ways in which the global is being conceptualised in contemporary culture, providing a fresh approach to the field of cultural studies of globalisation. It focuses on contemporary literature, film and theory, arguing that here we can see a resurgence in figurations of totality.
