Non monta qui di vedere chi abbia ragione. Io ho dalla mia pressochè tutti i commentatori da Piero di Dante sino ad oggi Ella, in vece, ha dalla sua i professori Casini, Della Para e Del Lungo. Ma la differenza tra Lei e me sta solo in ciò: ch'ella può essermi mille volte maestro nella interpreta zione del divino poema, laddove io non potrei nem manco esserle discepolo.
