Più tardi ottenne la ces sione dell' isola importantissima di Zante per 500 annui zec chini nonchè l'esenzione d'alcuni tributi, una vantaggiosa ret tifica di frontiere in Dalmazia, risarcimenti di danni, liberazione di schiavi ed altri favori che gli ambasciatori veneti seppero ottenere approfittando delle difficoltà in cui versava il sultano per la guerra civile che sosteneva nell'asia.
