Seine Erfahrungen als Investmentbanker verarbeitete er 1989 in seinem ersten Buch. Zahlreiche weitere Bestseller aus der Finanzszene und der Welt des Sports folgten. Lewis lebt mit seiner Frau und seinen drei Kindern in Berkeley, Kalifornien.
