The book examines the use of the Internet by youth and social movements in Morocco and the extent to which this has empowered them to challenge the hegemonic social order in the country during the Arab Spring.Through its exploration of the plethora of techniques used by youth and social movements , the book establishes a typology of modern youth movement and create a profile of cyberactivism and cyberactivists in Morocco. Similarly , the book discusses the dialectic relationship between technological and social determinisms and agency and the role technology plays in promoting youth political engagement to protest and create political change in the country.
A propos de l'auteur
Nour-eddine Laouni verfügt über langjährige Erfahrung in der Entwicklung und Schulung der erforderlichen technologischen Fähigkeiten für Lehrer aus aller Welt. Er hat einen Master-Abschluss in Kommunikation und befindet sich jetzt in der Abschlussphase seiner Doktorarbeit an der Universität Mohammed V-Rabat. Er arbeitet als Lehrerausbilder am Regionalen Zentrum für Bildung und Ausbildung CRMEF.
