The impact of commodity price to European Stock Market - Empirical study in period 2005-2015

Besides macroeconomics variable, the fluctuation of commodity price could shape the stock price by affecting economics condition and investment climate in a country. Nowadays, commodity price including oil price, food price, and gold price fluctuate intensively during the years and leads to increase the inflation. Commodity price is also important for the industry which needs raw material from commodity. Once commodity price increase, it will have impact to company profits which directly affect to EPS (earning per share) and even to the stock price. This book will answer how commodity price can impact to European stock market.

A propos de l'auteur

Khairul Faiz is Schmalkalden University graduate majoring in International business and economics. After successfully completing a thesis project about Islamic stocks, he decided to continue research on a similar topic, which is European stock markets. Currently, he is a lecturer at one of the state university in Indonesia.
