"It's a valuable reference book not only for those who follow Islam but also for others who simply want to know more about the faith life of Muslims. You want to know how Muslims should pray while traveling on a plane? The book tells you. Do you want to know how the Prophet Muhammad fasted? Again, the book tells you." — Bill Tammeus, Faith Matters Blog
"I am delighted to recommend this book as it fills an important gap in English Islamic literature in introducing the reality of Islam.... It effectively merges reason with revelation and tradition with modernity." — Prof Dr M.Munir, University of Al-Azhar, Cairo
"Shaykh Dr Musharraf Hussain has rendered this invaluable service in which he has remained true to tradition whilst taking into account the contemporary lives of Muslims. A truly scholarly piece of work." — Shaykh Ibrahim Mogra, Leicester
