ELAINE MARLOVA V. FRANCISCO is Associate Professor and Researcher of the Labour Studies Program at the University of Rio de Janeiro State (UERJ), Brazil.
JOSÉ RICARDO RAMALHO is Professor of Sociology at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Brazil.
