A propos de l'auteur

Audrey Thomas is the author of Latakia (1979), Mrs. Blood (1992), Real Mothers (1981) and Songs My Mother Taught Me (1993), all published by Talonbooks. She is a two-time winner of the BC Book Prize for Fiction. Thomas was born in upstate New York and now lives and works on Galiano Island, B.C. In 2008, Thomas was made a member of the Order of Canada.

In Real Mothers, a collection of short stories, Audrey Thomas journeys to France, Greece and Africa; she also writes about Galiano Island, B.C., where she lived while these stories were taking shape.
