High Temperature Formability of Tube Ends

This book gives an overview of the high temperature formability of tube end forming process of hard to form aluminium alloys, especially AA2014. Modelling aspects of the formability studies have been discussed thoroughly. The hot forming material properties and the forming methodology discussed in this book will be extremely useful for the industry practitioners. Statistical modelling has been performed to develop prediction equations and 3D response plots have been drawn to predict the hot forming process parameters. This book will be a useful guide for the researchers involved in the forming of high temperature alloys.

A propos de l'auteur

Dr M J Davidson, born on 25th October, 1975 at Nazareth, Tamil Nadu, India obtained his M.E in CAD/CAM from Anna University, Tamil Nadu and Ph.D from National Institute of Technology in Warangal, India. Dr M J Davidson has been teaching at NIT Warangal since 2008 and has produced two PhDs and has executed two DST sponsored projects.
