The process of urbanization has given new shapes to urban system & growth centers.Urbanization, urban system and growth centers are closely linked process. A study of these parameters throws light on many aspects of the urban development of the region.This research study has been very revealing from the point of geographical and social transformation in the field of urban systems.The distance between two cities is directly related to the tertiary services and population increase under particular environmental condition.Urban centers were increasing with time.Factors responsible for urbanization are migration,rivers,road density, road length etc. This analysis should be useful to assess the progress of urbanization to understand the nature and magnitude of the urban forces and processes operating in the region and to discern the pattern of urban growth itself. Such a study should be of assistance to also visualize the future prospects of urbanization. Scientific study of urbanization will help us in planning for the coming generation. It should be especially helpful to the town planners,administrators,managers and researchers in the field of urbanization.
