Eric Whaites works in the Department of Dental Radiological Imaging at KCL as a Senior Lecturer and Honorary Consultant. He qualified from Guy's in 1978 and received his BDS and LDSCRS. In 1982 he received his FDSRCS from RCS Edinburgh and a few years later obtained his MSc in Dental Radiology from KCL. Eric was awarded his FRCR without examination by the Royal College of Radiologists in 2002 and the following year was awarded FDSRCS ad eundem by RCS London. Eric is registered on the GDC specialist list for Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology and has been a member of the DDR Examining Board of the Royal College of Radiologists since 2000. He is also Regional Adviser on Dental and MaxilloFacial Radiology to the RCS England. Nick Drage FDS RCS DDR RCR is a Consultant in Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology at University Dental Hospital, Cardiff. He qualified from Guy's Dental School in 1989 and, after a year in general dental practice, spent four years in oral and maxillofacial surgery obtaining his Fellowship in 1994. He worked in the Dental Radiology Department at GKT for seven years from 1995-2002, firstly as a registrar and then as a lecturer. He obtained his Diploma in Dental Radiology from the Royal College of Radiologists in 1997. Nick is course tutor alongside Eric Whaites on the University of London Distance Learning programme MSc Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology. He also teaches the BDS dental imaging course at The University of Cardiff School of Dentistry as well as lecturing for a number of additional post-graduate radiological and radiation protection courses across the UK.
