This is a comprehensive four-part handbook that covers all aspects of non-destructive evaluation with charged-particles, photons and neutrons. The basics of radiation are covered in Part I, which includes: sources, modifying (interaction) physics, detection and safety. Part II discusses the techniques of transmission, scattering, emission and absorption. Part III presents the application of these techniques for probing, gauging, elemental-analysis and imaging.
