alex (sue price), a beautiful woman armed with an incredibly muscled physique and dna enhanced fighting skills, is an assassin in this new world order. after a long and arduous career in killing, she asks her boss, bernardo (andrew divoff) for one last assignment. he fears for her safety, but reluctantly agrees. killing her target, she becomes aware of a mysterious woman in black. could this be the angel of death?
it turns out that alex has retired the wrong target, the only son of the drug lord massimo. massimo's top assassin tokudo is sent to terminate alex. finding dishonor in her gross mistake, alex goes to massimo to apologize. he demands that she honor the assassin's code by taking her own life. unable to do so, she asks her boyfriend johnny to kill her. after making love for the last time johnny begins to strangle her, only to be stopped by the mysterious angel who reveals to them both the truth.
