Informationen zum Autor Amitai Etzioni is University Professor at George Washington University, and the director of the Institute of Communitarian Policy Studies. In 1990, he founded the Communitarian Network, a nonpartisan organization dedicated to shoring up the moral, social, and political foundations of society. He served as senior adviser to the White House and president of the American Sociological Association. He taught at Harvard, Columbia, and Berkeley.
