Harris Finds His Feet

Informationen zum Autor Award-winning author and illustrator, Catherine Rayner, was born in Harrogate and now lives in Edinburgh. She has a BA Hons in Visual Communication and Illustration from Leeds College of Art and Edinburgh College of Art. Much of the inspiration for her illustration comes from her pets. Klappentext Harris the little hare doesn't like his big feet, so his grandfather shows him all the wonderful things they can do, like hopping and running fast. Raynor won the Book Trust Best New Illustrator award for her first book, "Augustus & His Smile", which was shortlisted for many awards, including the Kate Greenaway Medal. She will be touring in the Spring to promote this publication. Ages: 4-7yrs. Zusammenfassung Harris was a very small hare with very big feet. 'Why do I have such enormous feet, Grandad?' Harris sighed. So Grandad shows Harris how to hop high into the sky, to climb to the tops of the mountains, and to run very fast. Harris not only learns about the world around him but also the importance of finding his own feet.
