Her work was also featured in the best-selling anthology Chicken Soup for the Kid's Soul, and she has been an active member of the Texas Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators for more than twenty-nine years. Adrian Tans is a painter and illustrator who has exhibited in a variety of galleries and venues. His eclectic résumé includes work as a carpenter, ship's cook, and competitive snow sculptor.
