Based on ethnographic fieldwork, this book presents the schools through vignettes rich in detail, which in turn feeds into an analysis of the success and failures of racial integration and the consequent impact of these processes on reconciliation. In addition to presenting an analysis of the present situation, this wonderfully clear and well-written work also proposes potential solutions to some of the current challenges being faced.
