The aim of this work is to provide those interested in general, as well as students of Social Communication courses, more specifically those in the area of Advertising and Publicity, with some content regarding advertising jingles. More precisely, the work discusses political jingles. For Advertising students, it is important to know that jingles are a very useful tool in the trajectory of any rising enterprise or product, and, of course, it could not be any different for candidates for elected office. Therefore, the author analyzes the discourse present in some jingles that portrayed the female figure in electoral advertising in Rio Grande do Norte in the first decade of the 21st century. The content is also intended for those who wish to learn a little more about the process of advertising.
