In print media like news, stories and other verbal formats visuals also would support the content in all its varied forms.Hence, the skills and professionalism of news photographers has also been found to influence the contents of print media as the others outlook do. In the era of convergent journalism news photographers professionalism and skills have become crucial subjects of discussion for quite some time. The globalization and commercialization have added new dimensions which are more contentious to the news photography. The professionals skills and core ideas of profession are often discussed for the deviation from the accepted principles. In this context, the researchers have taken up an exploratory study of Professionalism, Ethics And News Photographers in India. The study being a pioneer work has provided inputs that support the idea of core professionalism of news photographers of India.
