This book provides insights of international trade and precisely focuses on the effectiveness of trade policy. To this effect, various theories of trade have been analyzed. A lot of ideas and opinions of other research works have been used and acknowledged. The empirical findings are a reflection of many third world countries and advanced world economies. Trade policy is a major challenge in view of dynamic business environment and globalization of the world economic systems. Effective trade policies are a necessary tool for accelerating export growth but are not enough in the long-run. Governments need to promote effective public-private partnership to meet the demand for agro-products, thus eliminate supply side constraints for exporting firms to satisfy the international market.
