Über den Autor / die Autorin

Dr. Feng Yang
is a Professor at the School of Management, University of Science and Technology of China, where he obtained his Ph.D. in 2006. His research interests include operations management, modern supply chain management, intelligent logistics management, and data envelopment analysis (DEA). He has published more than 150 SCI/SSCI articles in leading international journals such as European Journal of Operational Research, Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review, International Journal of Production Research, Annals of Operations Research, etc. He has received several prizes and funding, including the Outstanding Author Contribution Award by Emerald in 2014, the Natural Science Award First Prize of High Schools in China in 2010 by the Ministry of Education of China, a fund for Outstanding Young Scholars by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) in 2013, and Key and Major Programs from NSFC in 2016 and 2020.

Dr. Xiaolong Guo
is a professor at the School of Management, University of Science and Technology of China, where he obtained his Ph.D. in 2014. His PhD thesis, "Storage Policies and Maintenance Support Strategies in Warehousing Systems", is recognized as an Outstanding Ph.D. Research and published in the book series "Springer Theses". Professor Guo has published more than 50 articles in top journals, including Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Production and Operations Management, Journal of Management Information Systems, and European Journal of Operational Research. His research has been recognized as an outstanding achievement by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and won the First Prize of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China.

Dr. Yugang Yu
is a Chair Professor at the School of Management, University of Science and Technology of China, where he obtained his Ph.D. in 2003. His research interests include data-driven modeling, algorithms, intelligent robotics in logistics, platform-based supply chains, and digital intelligence for carbon emission reduction. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief of Modern Supply Chain Research and Applications. Professor Yu has published more than 150 articles in top journals, including Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Transportation Science, Information Systems Research, Marketing Science, Production and Operations Management. Prof. Yu's Awards and honors include the Most Cited Chinese Researchers by Elsevier from 2014 to 2024, the First Prize of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China in 2020, the Distinguished Professor of the Changjiang Scholars by the Ministry of Education in China in 2015.
