It captures endearing moments of one mama bobcat that has visited the author's residence and nearby area with her annual litter of kittens for the past four years. Those darling kittens and the regal mother have provided ample opportunity to explore their secret daily lives through observation and photography. The book invites the reader to join in that exploration of the life of bobcats.

Al Cornell has a degree in natural resource management and is a retired Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Technician. He is a member of The Wildlife Society and has published many wildlife articles in outdoor magazines. He has had over 800 photos in outdoor magazines, books, and calendars. He and his wife reside in a Driftless Area hollow where he grew up, and to where bobcats have recently returned.
