Informationen zum Autor Prof. Alejandro G. Sinner holds a B.A. degree in History, and M.A. degree in Archaeology and a Ph.D. in Society and Culture (2014) from the University of Barcelona. He is currently an Assistant Professor in Roman Art and Archaeology in the Department of Greek and Roman Studies at the University of Victoria. Prof. Sinner's research focuses on the social and cultural history of Roman Spain and the western provinces. His main research lines include Iberian Numismatics and epigraphy, identity construction, cultural change, and pre-Roman languages in the Iberian Peninsula. Despite being at an early stage in his academic career, Prof. Sinner's publication record includes two books and over a dozen articles in national and international journals. Since 2006 he has been involved in the excavations of the ancient site of Ilduro in Cabrera de Mar (Catalonia) where he is currently directing a research project and leading an international archaeological field school/El Prof. Alejandro G. Actualmente ocupa el puesto de Assistant Professor in Roman Art and Archaeology en el Department of Greek and Roman Studies de la University of Victoria.Los intereses científicos del Prof. Sinner se centran en la historia social y cultural de la España romana y las provincias occidentales. Sus principales líneas de investigación actualmente son la Numismática, el cambio cultural y la formación de identidades en el mundo romano, así como el estudio de las lenguas prerromanas en la península ibérica. A pesar de encontrarse en una etapa inicial de su carrera académica, el Prof. Sinner ha publicado dos libros y más de una docena de artículos en revistas especializadas nacionales e internacionales. Desde 2006, participa en las excavaciones de la antigua ciudad ibero-romana de Ilduro (Cabrera de Mar, Cataluña), donde actualmente dirige un proyecto de investigación y lidera un curso internacional de Arqueología.
